First of all, I want to thank for inviting the representatives of Republic of Serbia and invite us to participate in this important forum, and on this occasion I want to convey greetings from our beautiful Serbia to the brotherly Chinese people.

We are particularly pleased with the fact that we are here at the time when China has celebrated a great jubilee - 100 years since the founding of the Communist Party of China, which began the process of liberating the Chinese people from poverty.

Today's development policy personified by President Xi Jinping has positioned China at the head of the countries that will create the future of the world in the coming decades, which makes us very happy in Serbia.

The community for the future of humanity should ensure equality for all peoples and states, which will end the practice that led to a unipolar world, which led to sufferings of small peoples, such as the people wrom the country where I came from.

The strategic partnership between the Republic of Serbia and the People's Republic of China was established in 2009, and relations were further deepened in 2013 and then raised to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership in June 2016.

Relations between the two countries today are characterized by intense political dialogue and exchange of visits at the highest level.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, officially met with the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, seven times. Thanks to the excellent personal relations of the two statesmen, the interstate relations of the Republic of Serbia and the People's Republic of China are said to be bound by "steely friendship".

The Chinese president visited Serbia in 2016, and it was the first visit of a Chinese president to our country after 32 years. On that occasion, 22 agreements on cooperation between the two countries in various fields were signed.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, made several official visits to China, the last of which took place from February 3 to 5, in order to attend the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, when he met with the President of the Republic of China, Xi Jinping. Serbia attaches great importance to cooperation with China within the "China +16" and "One Belt One Road" cooperation mechanisms.

Over the past 10 years, Serbia has proven to be the most stable partner of the Republic of China in Europe - we strongly support the one-China policy and oppose any foreign interference in your internal relations.

As a country where 56 different peoples live in peace and tranquility, China is an example of what coexistence and tolerance should look like, and we want to share experiences with you in this regard.

The state of human rights and freedoms in Serbia is at the highest possible level and we are proud of that. In Belgrade, it will never happen that anyone is attacked because of their nationality, religion or skin color.

When it comes to Serbia itself, the most difficult situation in terms of human rights and freedoms takes place in Kosovo and Metohija, a Serbian province that was violently separated with the support of the West after the horrific bombing by the NATO pact of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999, which was in direct contradiction to Charter of the United Nations and by the decision of the Security Council.

Daily attacks on Serbs by Albanians have been going on for decades, and in recent days the campaign of violence reached its peak.

Just a few weeks ago, the police of the fake state of Kosovo again wounded several Serbs with firearms.

This is already the third shooting from a firearm and the 38th attack since the beginning of the year by Albanians on Serbs. Despite everything, the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are ready to defend their right to their territory, which has been under occupation for 23 years, with their lives.

We are grateful to brotherly China for defending international law together with us and not recognizing the fake state of Kosovo.

We are grateful to our brotherly China because it is investing and renovating roads in our Serbia together with us. We are grateful to brotherly China because it was the first to help us when the coronavirus pandemic started and sent us all the necessary medicines, vaccines, respirators that saved thousands of Serbian lives.

We stand with our brothers and friends from the People's Republic of China and together with you we step into the future that belongs to free nations. Long live Serbia, long live China!
