Timofei Bordachev, programme director of the Valdai Discussion Club and academic supervisor of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, visited Xinhua Institute for a discussion on April 3.

Bordachev spoke highly of the recent development of China-Russia relations. He introduced the recent situation in Russia, as well as his latest research results on China-Russia relations, regional situation and international issues and held talks with his Chinese counterparts.

Researchers of Xinhua Institute, and editors and reporters of International News Department and China News for World Service Department at Xinhua News Agency joined the discussion.
